Interns and apprentices are expected, within 3 years with us, to pioneer their own ministries. We honour them with a Bachelor degree when they establish ministries. Masters and Doctorates are conferred on pioneers who have developed successful ministry teams and become multipliers. The TUI Asia model is exactly the opposite of today’s colleges, who confer degrees within a classroom and then send graduates into the real world to start their work.

It is a Jesus university, founded on the lifestyle and model of Yeshua. Luke 2:52 says that Jesus increased in wisdom and stature and in favour with God and men: body, mind, society and spirituality. Read our Statement of Faith.

All three. Formal: Internships to Doctorates in a non-academic setting for the 300 plus churches in Nepal and nine surrounding nations. Informal: Tara Schools in three Kathmandu slums where children at risk learn to read and write. Non-formal: WARM Nepal, job and life skills for women at risk. Read about Bethel Ashrm.

More than 300 people have passed out from TUI Asia since 1998, many with honours, from India, Nepal, China, Bhutan and Pakistan, with candidates in process from Afghanistan, Myanmar, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.

The university began within monasticism and scholasticism in the 1st-century church. Greek Orthodox and Roman Catholic monks served the poor and prayed. Scholars studied the Bible in Latin, Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek so as to teach the universal (meaning Catholic) church by interpreting the Bible from its original source.

Ivy League universities serve the richest of the rich and the chosen few. The TUI Asia project wants to make the university available to all, because every human being is intellectually unique and capable of giving society a unique set of skill sets.

All interns, apprentices and bachelorettes live or are connected to daily ministry in Tami Nepal and its partners, hosted at Bethel Ashrm and Bethesda Bishram. They receive financial gifts at graduation as an encouragement to lead in personal discipleship, team leadership and community development, and pioneering new things for Jesus.
